With your coastal option license, you can sail from the age of 16:
- with any type of boat or jet-ski;
- up to 6 miles from a shelter ;
- day and night; and use VHF (radio) in French territorial waters.
Theoretical training :
Over 1 week or 15 days, our team adapts to your availability to prepare you for the theory test. Our training center is located in Pietrosella (5 minutes from the Isolella peninsula). The exam, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions, takes place at your convenience at La Poste in Ajaccio.
Practical training :
Once you've passed the theory test, it's time for the practical part. Departing from the Isolella peninsula, alone at the helm, you'll benefit from the advice of an instructor as you learn to drive. Particular attention is paid to harbor maneuvers. At the end of your training, the instructor will issue you with a provisional certificate of achievement. You'll receive your license by post within a month.
